WHO threw the bag containing six puppies into Welcome Bay, Tauranga, New Zealand? Can 4chan find out?
The puppies – all a American pit bull Staffordshire-cross – drowned.
But the dog’s mother tried to save her brood.
A local heard howling. It went on for two hours. It began at 1am last Saturday. Tauranga SPCA animal welfare inspector Jason Blair tells us:
“They witnessed the [mother] dog carrying a red reusable New World shopping bag, as well as puppies, get out of the water and take them up the bank. They saw the dog pace back and forward between the shore, with the bag of puppies in her mouth.”
By the time the SPCA had arrived at 7am, someone had tied the dog up.
Who did it?
