THE SpID speeding sign on Navigation Way, Ashton, is out of service until someone can find a stepladder.
As the report on local police priorities in Preston says:
“Due to domestic problems, the volunteer responsible for the Speed Indicator Device on Navigation Way no longer has access to a ladder.”
It is The Best Excuse of 2011…
