RIP Gary Moore, once of Skid Row and Thin Lizzy, who has died in Spain. He was 58. In 1969, Moore left Belfast to join Skid Row and Phil Lynott in Dublin. He was just 16.

A statue of Thin Lizzy front man Phil Lynott is unveiled by his mother Philomena, on the corner of Grafton Street and Harry Street in Dublin's city centre. Roisin Dubh - the trust set up to commemorate Lynott's life and work - commissioned the statue, which has been paid for by supporters of the Irish musician.
