Mum Sells Sons Toys On eBay: 4Chan Pollute The Soap Dish
WHO is the mum who’s selling her children’s manga Beyblade toys on eBay to teach them a lesson? To add to the punishment, the sales pitch comes with a picture of two crying boys.
Mum is daney21. 4Chan spotted the story and the bids for the 8 toys. The bid rises from an opening gambit of $69 to an impressive $999,999. (For that money, mum might even included in the deal the boys AND a free tumbler.)
Mum sends an email to a 4chan bidder:
“Do you plan to pay over $9000.00 for the beyblades or is this a joke to you because this has been a problem all day and I am going to report to ebay.”
The eBay police will get to the bottom of it. They might also like to take a look at mum. Her advertisement went thus:
We are selling 8 Beyblades, 2 of them light up. As you can tell they are not happy about this! They have been using their bathtub as a “battle arena” and Beyblades + Bathtub = Destruction!!! With the metal ones they managed to scrape the enamel off the tub, take a chunk of tub out and break off the soap holder. SO if you “win” this auction DON’T play with in a bathtub!!! We have recieved a quote of $500.00 to replace the tub, some tiles, and soap holder + labor of course! They had approxamently $125.67 in their piggy banks that will be going to toward the cost. We will use the profit from this auction towards the balance and then it is onto other toys!
A soap holder and an enamel bath – INDOORS?! They had tens of dollars in their piggy banks! These children are spoilt rotten. Better to sell the bath. Sell the soap holder. Sell the piggy bank. Sell their children’s hair. Do they smoke and drink hard booze? Unlikely. Sell their livers and lungs. It’s for their own good.
