The 6-foot-7, 350-pound right tackle was hurt Dec. 19 in a game against Jacksonville when referee Jeff Triplette tossed a penalty flag weighted with BBs that accidentally struck Brown's right eye. Brown, 29, shoved Triplette to the ground after he was hit. He received a reported $25 million settlement from the NFL over his eye injury before an emotional return to the gridiron field in 2003 with the Baltimore Ravens.
