IT does. A SURVEY showed that if you’re a “college guy” who frequently refers to alcohol or posts pictures of it up on your Facebook profile you have more friends than someone else who doesn’t.
Though conventional wisdom suggests that telling everyone on Facebook how slammed you got last Friday is a bad idea…. It may actually show that you’re just a chilled dude who likes beer and good times and could help you get friends.
I mean, nobody likes the guy who’s always posting status updates about mineral water.
The survey was done by a group aiming to reduce alcohol consumption among college students by examining the drinking cultures in American universities.
But – FAIL on them. They have only managed to add some statistics to the old truth that boozing makes you popular.
