A Person We Can’t Name Sues Another Person We Don’t Know The Name Of: Twitter Stuck In #Superinjunction Court Case Hell

by | 20th, May 2011

BAD news for Twitter as an anonymous celebrity has decided to sue the social networking site for breaking a super-injunction. Both Twitter and the anonymous user behind a Twitter feed that named the celebrities behind the super-injunctions could end up in the docks in London.
The celebrity taking Twitter to the courts was described only as “CTB” by court documents, though blog TNW speculates that the intials suggest s/he is an athlete who won an anonymity order about his/her an affair with a television star. The same name was used in a previous court case in which the order was granted.
Sky News speculates that it might be the footballer who previously took out a super-injunction against Imogen of Big Brother.
