When a squirrel stole the scene in Melissa Brandts’ holiday photo, taken in Alberta, Canada’s Banff National Park, it created a meme.
The squirrel can be seen in the National Geographic’s Traveler Photo Contest 2011.
First prize is a fourteen-day expedition for two to the British and Irish Isles aboard the National Geographic Explorer.
