Sex Slave Raped Fred And Rose West’s Old House
CAN a house be cursed? A woman claims she was raped at 25 Midland Road in Gloucester – the house where Fred and Rosemary West lived; the house where they murdered their eight-year-old daughter Charmaine in 1971. They buried under the kitchen floor. They tortured , raped and murdered at least 12 other women and children.
This is the house the Wests lived in before they moved to the “House of Horrors” . That house has been demolished. This one still stands.
The alleged victim was, reportedly, brought her by sex traffickers. Iveta Viragova Votjech Virag and Ludmila Nistorova have been arrested. They face five charges each, including conspiracy to traffic for sexual exploitation and immigration offences.
So. Can a house be possessed?
Peter Radley bought it at auction in 2000:
There were gasps among the 90 buyers gathered at the auction in Bristol’s Hilton Hotel when auctioneer Paul Fosh told them: “The property has attracted a lot of interest. It was the former home of Fred West.”
Mr Radley, of Westbury-on-Severn, said after his successful bid: “Of course I know about its history. It is a sound investment and the history did not put me off… I have been to see it twice and there was nothing eerie about it. The estate agents were very upfront about its past.”
But the bigger question is this: why is prostitution not legal? If it were surely the women could be less easily exploited and brutalised.
