RIP Sean Hoare: The New International Whistleblower Is Dead (Like The Company)
RIP Sean Hoare. He worked for the News of The World. He told us:
“There is an expression called the culture of dark arts. You were given a remit: just get the story. Phone tapping hadn’t just existed on the News of the World … I have gone on the record in the New York Times and said I have stood by Andy [Andy Coulson] and been requested to tap phones, OK, or hack into them. He was well aware the practice existed. To deny it is simply a lie.”
Hoare is the former News of the World who was sacked for for drink and drugs problems. His body was found in his Watford home. This is sad news. It’s very sad that a writer was not able to tell his tory at a time when it would have been in high demand.
Say police:
“The death is currently being treated as unexplained but not thought to be suspicious. Police investigations into this incident are ongoing.”
RIP Sean Hoare. RIP News International…
