Lockerbie Bomber Abdul Baset Ali al-Megrahi Appears At Libya Rally

by | 27th, July 2011

ABDUL Baset Ali al-Megrahi is not dead. The Lockerbie bomber who murdered 270 people has been at a rally in Tripoli.

He is offered a microphone. He uses it to say that he was the victim of a “conspiracy”. (Let’s ask Moussa Koussa, aka Musa Kusa, what he thinks.)

The convicted killer’s freedom is not because he has terminal cancer – he says his freedom is a victory against oppression. only three months to live.

In August 2009, Al-Megrahi arrived back in Tripoli. One doctor had given him three months to live. He had been released from Greenock prison near Glasgow on humanitarian grounds. In April 2010, the killer had just one month to live. He is still alive.

In August 2009, we reported on a possible cure for terminal cancer:

Ali al-Megrahi also revealed that the disease which his son is suffering from is not as dangerous as some in the media are portraying it, saying “he was diagnosed with cancer less than a year ago, and we would bring him medicinal herbs from the Chinese herb market in Britain, he was also treated with other medicine in prison in Scotland.” Al-Megrahi senior added “a relative was diagnosed with a similar disease [prostate cancer] and he was treated and recovered completely. We hope that Abdul-Basset recovers his health as well.” – AAWSat

His release was ‘ordered’ by Kenny MacAskill, the Scottish Justice Minister, who opined:

“Mr al-Megrahi faces a sentence imposed by a higher power. It is one that no court in any jurisdiction in any land could revoke or overrule.”

Yes, indeed – it had nothing to do with Prime Minister Tony Blair. Really. Nothing.

In August 2008, we wrote:

This has very little to do with the dying man. This is about dark dealings. Dealings which have involved state representatives, weapons dealers oil suppliers and buyers…almost from the day Megrahi was sentenced. There will be expressions of horror and anger from the government of the USA. Do not be fooled, this release is not possible without a nod and a wink from the Washington mandarins.

We still ask one question: Lockerbie Lies: Who Now Speaks For The Murdered 270?
