Dragon Den’s Duncan Ditches The Missus

DRAGONS’ Den’s curmudgeonly, bluff, re-haired but multi-millionaire Scot Duncan Bannatyne, 62, is bailing out of his deal to “all my goods I thee endow” and divorcing his wife.

Joanne McCue, now 45, was a former director of nursing at his Nursing
Homes business when they married in 2006. They have two children.

The Sunday Times says Bannatyne, who has homes near Stockton on Tees and a villa in France, is worth almost £450 million.

Senior admin staff in the core companies are telling staff everything will be done to save jobs in the health clubs, bar and hotel empire.

Some companies may have be to sold off to pay for the likely to be staggering divorce settlement.

Bannatyne, a lead role player in the BBC’s Dragon’s Den, also has four children from a previous marriage. Duncan’s decision to quit is already costing mega-bucks.

Joanne McCue is asking for £1,000 a day as the interim settlement funding agreement…before her professional Dragon Slayers Messers Squease, Gonad, Dryden & Runne pick up their quills, briefs, wigs and robes.

Ouch!

One defence ploy for Bannatyne may be to ask just what Joanne saw in the multi-millionaire before she married him.
