Lady GaGa’s Version Of White Christmas Is Leaked AND SHE’S ADDED HER OWN VERSE
SHE may be better known for making barnstorming enormopop and wearing outfits that Grace Jones may get jealous of, but to anyone who has even vaguely followed the career of Lady GaGa, you’ll know she’s got a sappy side.
And with that, there’s been a lot of talk about a Christmas EP coming our way from Mother Monster called A Very GaGa Holiday. Guess what? One of the songs from it has leaked online.
Alongside acoustic versions of Edge Of Glory and You & I, a cover of Nat King Cole’s Orange Coloured Sky, GaGa has tackled perennial yuletide fave, White Christmas, which of course, hasn’t been bettered since Bing Crosby recorded it in 1941, when the world was made out of coal and everything had polio.
And, to annoy the purists, GaGa has added a verse of her own. She says in the swingy-jazz number:
“So as you can tell, I’m very outgoing and a little bit shy, but I’ve decided that this song is just too short. It’s such a beautiful Christmas song but it’s only one verse, so I added one extra one. Here it goes.”
Have a listen in the video below before some big record exec orders it to be taken offline!
