Iran Threatens To Trap British Ex-Pats In United Arab Emirates: Britain Says ‘Go For It’

START those engines on Diego Garcia – Iran has reverse engineered the US RQ-170 Sentinel spy drone it captured.

Parviz Sorouri, of the Revolutionary Guard Corps, says Iran will use information gleaned to sue the United States over the “invasion”. What’s more:

“In the near future, we will be able to mass-produce it. . . . Iranian engineers will soon build an aircraft superior to the American [drone] using reverse engineering.”

Reverse engineering is the future for go-ahead Iran.

Souri adds:

“We will hold a military manoeuvre on how to close the Strait of Hormuz soon. If the world wants to make the region insecure, we will make the world insecure.”

Closing the Straits of Homuz will entrap hundreds if not thousands of British ex-pats in the UAE. Anorak welcomes the news and invites Iran to do its worst. If Iran can then invade the Dordogne, the United Kingdom will be forever thankful and world peace may be secured at minimal cost. Sure the ex-pats will up their comment count to the Daily Mail, but we can take.

If the Iranians can keep the ex-pats in big prawns, Andrew and Julie, Andrea and Al, and Doreen And John, won’t even notice being imprisoned in the sands. Big prawns are all that matter to ex-pats.

Obama considers the options:

“I’m not going to comment on intelligence matters that are classified. We have asked for it back. We’ll see how the Iranians respond.”

Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton adds:

“Given Iran’s behaviour to date, we do not expect them to comply.”

Well, she’s the expert.
