Yarn bombing Clitheroe Castle in photos

YARN bombers are planning to cover Clitheroe Castle in knitting. The Lancashire Telegraph reports:

The global phenomenon yarn bombing is a form of graffiti that covers objects in public places with colourful knitted or crocheted designs instead of using paint or chalk.

What yarn bombing lacks in spontaneity  and speed it makes up in texture and a cosy feeling that everything is going to be ok (weather permitting):
