KIMBERLY Hainey will serve a life sentence for murdering her son, Declan Hainey. Full story here. Kimberley Hainey will server a minimum of 15 years in prison for murdering her son. It is a story of hideous cruelty.
At the High Court in Glasgow, Lord Woolman told her:
“The death of Declan has had a devastating effect on the family. The death of your son is a huge tragedy for you. You said that you loved Declan more than anything in the world. You will have to live with his death for the rest of your life.”
Isn’t compassion what makes us better than Kimberley Hainey?
And today, as Kimberley Hainey, 37, the monster who gave Declan life, was sentenced to a minimum of 15 years in jail for his murder, we, as a society should draw a line in the sand. No child should be condemned to this life of misery because they were brought into the world by a hopeless drug addict.
