Did Cheryl Cole get an MC Harvey tattoo?
CHERYL Cole is back on the front pages. In the bleak mid-winter between the X Factor and Britain’s Got Talent, “nation’s sweetheart” Cheryl of the furious fists and extended hair is the subject of a story that she is not dating one of So Solid Crew’s leading 100 members, MC Harvey. (Single out in March!)
Harvey was once married to Alesha Dixon, who is now occupying the seat Cheryl once cooled on the X Factor. He is also father to Javine Hylton’s child. She’s the Eurovision Song Contest flasher with the personable bum who came sixth on the reality TV show that spawned the five-piece Girls Aloud. If you sit in the showbiz Petri Dish and wait a few seconds, MC Harvey (aka Michael Harvey Jnr) will come a-swimming by. If he can squire Cheryl, Harvey will be able to play the binder in the ITV Saturday Night Calendar.
Says Cheryl on twitter in a discreet tweet directed at Harvey:
“Was this “relationship” happening in your head @harveyofficial?! Are you smoking something?”
He replies:
“Do you actually want me to tweet some of the messages you emailed me @cherylcole pipe down and stop playing the saint in front of your fans.”
The charmer then adds:
“I had your back @cherylcole until you sent that s**t. Disappointed in you if the public seen these emails you would end up with egg on your face.”
“And let’s get this straight @cherylcole I don’t need no hype of you! I’d rather go broke and work in Sainsbury’s than talk about your personal s**t.”
Harvey to Aisle 10. Milk spill in Aisle 10…
It’s just like when that other nation’s sweetheart, Vera Lynn, was embroiled in a tabloid love story with Nat King Cole.
Says Nat, sorry, Harvey:
‘This is not a twitter beef. I still have massive respect for @cherylcole but you shouldn’t of tweeted that knowing we both have personal messages to eachother #silenceinthecourt.’
Adding:
‘Its funny how the hype has calmed down since I mentioned the emails. Where I come from we don’t snitch I’d rather die than sell my soul #simples.’
RIP Harvey. The Come Dine With REunions show’s Loss is Heaven’s gain (he was last seen eating wit Jonathan Ansell, Tamara Beckwith and Lynsey de Paul.)
ANyhow, this twatter spatter is based on Harvey’s words in Now magazine, in which he confides:
“There was a relationship and an attraction to each other’s aura…”
Not aural, alas. The pair have yet to duet.
‘We started confiding in each other. A lot of it was like: “We can’t trust anyone out there, so we’re just gonna trust each other.”
…
‘We talked about music. I told her: “Cheryl, you haven’t got the strongest vocals, but…” You could chill with Cheryl, man. She’s just cool.’
He adds:
‘We’ve both had trouble in relationships. I was scared. I was thinking: “Am I ready for all this again?” Someone got wind of it and wrote on my Twitter: ‘Cheryl, don’t go with that c***.’ So we knew what could happen. That sort of thing made me frightened.
So. What of the fiercely macho dancer on US telly’s Dancing With The Stars Cheryl was paired with?
‘I cracked up when people said she was with Derek Hough. I was like: “You’re so far off!”‘
Can it be that Cheryl was not really dating the young American TV hoofer before she appeared on the US version of the X Factor?
We demand to know the truth. And, thankfully, the Daily Star has it. The front page declares:
“CHERYL: THE TRUTH ABOUT MY ‘AFFAIR’ WITH RAPPER”
The truth turns out to be a collection of those tweets and Harvey saying in Now!:
“It’s personal. I promised loyalty and I can’t break that. I’m not going to say we went to that restaurant and this restaurant. But I’m sure people aren’t stupid.”
Name the restaurants, Harvey. It’s best to name the restaurants…
