Chantelle Houghton shocked at baby girl – was expecting chest of drawers
CHANTELLE Houghton tells OK! readers:

On page 39, we meet Chantelle. She is sat on a bed. On it lies a single red rose. She rests a hand on her tummy. Whipped hair tangles over her shoulders. The woman impregnated by Katie Price’s ex Alex Reid is here to slam the rumours the couple are “on the rocks”.
“When Chantell arrives on the shoot, her eyes are glistening with tears, ‘I’m having a girl…I can’t believe it.”
For a woman who claimed the sun and the moon were the same thing, having a baby girl may well come as shock. She may have esxpected to be carrying a chest of drawers or an iPod. This being OK!, it turns out that the front-pag headline is baded on thin air and Chantelle was never abandoned.
Alex then, in an effort to validate his celebrity, tells us that the cast of The Only Way Is Essex “are making a career out of being ignorant“.
To which Chantelle says:
“I do want my daughter to go to that place…What ‘s it called? [Laughs.] University?”
Chantelle was born in Wickford…Essex.
