Man guilty of threatening to kill foetus
IAIN MacKay, 36, from Stirling, Scotland, has been convicted of threatening an unborn foetus. He was fined £360 for saying that he would kill the child in the body of an eight months pregnant woman.
It is said the woman had awoken him as he was relaxing after a day’s hard drinking.
At Stirling Sheriff Court, Iain MacKay admitted “making threats of violence towards an unborn child”.
He also pleaded guilty to shouting, swearing, clenching his fist and behaving in a threatening and abusive manner…[the court] heard that he had called the mother “a fat cow” before threatening the unborn child.
