The women wore off-the-shoulder gowns and big grins– acting talent commanding teeth not to chatter and skin not to prick and blister against the flashing bulbs. Clooney, Pitt and all the men wore vests, suits and heavy overcoats, preferring to look cool rather than be very cool indeed…
