Tramp pretends he’s woman for 13 years to get free health care
MUG Shot of The Day is that of the man who pretended to be Perla Serrano, 51. The man is homeless in South California. He, allegedly, pretended to be Perla Serrano for 13 years to get free medical care.
Polie says the man stole Perla’s identity and over a decade racked up bills in excess of $100,000 in Orange County’s hospitals.
The man no longer known as Perla Serrano was caught when a cop in San Clemente noticed him wearing a hospital wristband while asleep outdoors.
Serrano is busted for a litany of crimes – unauthorized use of personal identifying information, false impersonation, second-degree burglary and grand theft. He’s in jail on a £20,000 bond.
The medical experts who dished out free drugs and care to a man pretending to be woman remain in their posts. Which is reassuring…
