Witness John says Trayvon Martin was beating up armed Robert Zimmerman
TRAYVON Martin: The Miami Heat basketball team have posed for a photograph showing their solidarity with Trayvon Martin, the young unarmed black man shot dead, allegedly in cold blood”, by Robert Zimmerman in suburban Florida.
Zimmerman was not made to answer for the killing. He was not arrested. He was not drugs or alcohol tested. According to Florida, Robert Zimmerman broke no law.
In other news, the media spots a witness called “John”. He says Martin was beating up Zimmerman. This is Zimmerman who was armed and stalking Martin, the unarmed black teenager who had popped to the shops for some Skittles.
John tells Sanford police that he saw Martin on top of George Zimmerman
‘The guy on the bottom who had a red sweater on was yelling to me: ‘Help, help’… and I told him to stop and I was calling 911…When I got upstairs and looked down, the guy who was on top beating up the other guy, was the one laying in the grass, and I believe he was dead at that point.”
Zimmerman was dressed in a red sweater; Martin was dressed in a grey hoodie.
Craig Sonner is Zimmerman’s lawyer. He says:
“I don’t believe there’s any racial motivation on the behalf of George Zimmerman… That’s the issue that we wanted to address today, is that this was not a racial issue in what happened that day. Basically, Mr Zimmerman claims he was attacked by Trayvon Martin and he was defending himself. That’s the gist of the investigation.”
Believe becomes fact.
Can you be attacked if you are armed and following someone who isn’t because he looks “suspicious”?
Such are the facts.
