Woman mistakes draught excluder for snake – police issue warning
WE are in the midst of a post- Animal Magic crisis. A woman from Kingswells, near Aberdeen, has called the Scottish SPCA complaining about the 5ft snake in her loft. It wasn’t a snake. It was a draught excluder.
Secondly, two police officers from Nottinghamshire spotted a King Charles Spaniel in the back of a car and fearing it was about to overheat broke the window and saved the day. Only it was a toy dog.
Nottinghamshire Police said:
“This is a perfect example of why drivers need to think about what they leave on view in their car, both in terms of other people’s perception of the objects and in a bid to deter opportunist thieves.”
Lesson noted, officers. Thanks.
