The tabloids hate Roy Hodgson for not being Harry Redknapp
ROY Hodgson looks well set to be named the manager of England’s football team. The West Bromwich Albion manager is on the front page of:

Why is that a shock? Well. Roy Hodgson has never been in bother with the law. He has managed Switzerland, Inter Milan, Hamstads, Bristol City, Malmo, Finland, the UAE, Copenhagen, Udinese, Blackburn Rovers, Grasshopper, Viking (Norway), Grasshopper (Switzerland) and Liverpool. He has taken two teams – Inter and Fulham – to the final of the UEFA Cup. His contract with WBA expires at the end of the season – so, no compensation will need paying. He’s English.
Perhaps The Sun’s shock is based on the journalists who wrote of their support for Redknapp, a man who enjoys the limelight and gives good copy?
