Geri Halliwell has a spiritual connection with Russell Brand… no, you stop laughing
THE phrase ‘the beast with two backs’ was surely invented for the sham-relationship that is apparently unfurling between Russell Brand and Geri Halliwell. Imagine them at it. Imagine them trying to outdo each other in their attempts to be the centre of attention. Imagine them telling each other just how outlandishly vulnerable they are, talking over each other and pressing their bony, gristly bodies together in a minging embrace, both one eye on the mirror.
Just imagine.
Apparently, they’ve bonded over a love of yoga, which is the only thing more nauseating than thinking about them having sex.
According to various sources (all hugely reputable red-tops, of course), the pair got together after hitting it off after rehearsals for the London 2012 Olympic Games closing ceremony. Incidentally, the closing ceremony was the worst thing that had ever happened in human history, but it has remarkably been eclipsed by Geri and Brand creeping one off all over each other.
Ginger Spice reportedly believes yoga gives them a “spiritual connection” and a closer bond, with a friend of the ‘singer’ stating: “Geri has said they have a spiritual connection through yoga and they practise asana together. Russell is known for action between the sheets but he is actually very good at just sitting still in silence.”
“It is something that has acted as a bond for he and Geri as their relationship blossoms.”
