Heart transplant girl lives her dream by killing a 335-pound bear
HERE’S something to think about. To Stetsonville, Wisconsin, survivalist Kaitlynn Bessette, 11, has killed /murdered a 335-pound bear. Kaitlynn Bessette says:
“I felt thankful, like really thankful I shot a bear.”
What a little nutter, eh?
Now know that Kaitlynn Bessette has Tricuspid atresia. She needs a heart and liver transplant. One of her heartfelt wishes was to off a bear. The United Special Sportsman Alliance, a program that helps children with disabilities do the things they’ve always wanted to do, made the bear hunt happen.
United Special Sportsman Alliance, Inc. (USSA) is a 501(c) (3) non-profit national wish granting charity that specializes in sending critically ill and disabled youth and disabled veterans on the outdoor adventure of their dreams!
Says Kaitlynn:
“I’m interested in hunting and fishing. I think I knew it, but it just didn’t sink in until she called me and when she called me it was amazing, I started instantly crying…When I looked through that scope I didn’t see it as a bear, I saw it as a 300 pound lion that’s about to attack you, so I held the gun as steady as I could, I turned my head and than I shot.”
The family hope the bear is gutted, stuffed and mounted on a wall in their home.
Kids, eh…
