Epic video of Australian MP tearing sexism a new one

POLITICIANS are all slimy swine and no question, but over in Australia, they’re showing us all exactly we should hand them a smackdown. PM Julia Gillard (who once said “screw you!” to US Congress, so she’s not a woman to be trifled with) went to town on an MP called Peter Slipper.

Now, Peter Slipper is an ordained priest, has been accused of sexually harassing a gay man and is thought to have been rather ‘creative’ with his expenses. However, he’s now at the centre of a storm where he’s had his arse royally handed to him… AND THERE’S A VIDEO OF IT! Slipper referred to another MP as ‘an ignorant bitch’, amongst other comments.

The Leader of the Opposition, Tony Abbott, looked to get Slipper (sorry, his name is still funny) sacked and questioned the PMs judgement on him… and then the PM tore the pair of them several new holes after the release of a series of crude text messages about women.

Abbott said: “Should she rise in this place now to try and defend the Speaker, to try and say that she retains confidence in this Speaker, she will shame this Parliament again.”

What Abbott didn’t account for is Gillard’s smackdown ability and she promptly pointed out that Abbott’s health minister referred to abortion was the “easy way out” and noted that Abbott mocked her unmarried status and gleefully stood beside the “Ditch the Witch” placards.

She said: “The Leader of the Opposition says that people who hold sexist views are not appropriate for high office. Well I hope the Leader of the Opposition has got a piece of paper and he is writing out his resignation,” adding that she was offended by Abbott’s comments on abortion and “housewives of Australia” doing the ironing

With all that in mind, watch this epic video where Julia Gillard kicks so much arse that she should consider becoming a professional fighting machine.

Oh, and Slipper resigned.
