Police publish list of Zumba prostitute Alexis Wright’s alleged clients
AMERICA, home to the world’s largest porn industry, is upset by prostitution. New England is spinning on Alexis Wright, the personal trainer who allegedly ran a brothel from her Zumba keep-fit studio in Kennebunk, Maine (see photo). Zumba is a godless habit of, well, let’s allow Wikipedia to tell you:
Zumba involves dance and aerobic elements. Zumba’s choreography incorporates hip-hop, soca, samba, salsa, merengue, mambo, martial arts, and some Bollywood and belly dance moves. Squats and lunges are also included.
Sounds ghastly. The kind of self abuse prostitutes are actively against.
The accusation is that Alexis Wright serviced over 100 men – she, allegedly, recorded the sex on tapes. in the act of coitus. And now a list of names has been made public:
As a result of [lawyer Stephen] Schwartz’s last appeal, a judge ordered that those alleged clients who have been charged but are also victims of invasion of privacy [i.e., the ones who were filmed] shall not have their addresses released to the public. In the press release issued Monday, the Kennebunk Police Department said it would not be providing the ages and states of residency for those charged with engaging in prostitution as it would contribute to “identifying” those who may be the alleged victims of invasion of privacy.
User-generated porn is almsot a big a threat to the legal porn industry as paid-for sex. If the police were in the pay of the porn biz, this might make sense. But surely releasing these names is just spiteful. The only positives we can take from this are:
* If your husband or lover takes up keep-fit, wonder.
* When visting a prostitute, pay cash and use a false name.
