London Police stop Liz Baldwin’s attempt to draw the world’s fastest chalk line
SPECIOUS world record attempter is Liz Baldwin. The Goldsmiths University student wanted to draw an unbroken mile-long unbroken chalk line faster than any human being ever had. She would beat the record of 1 hour and 20 minutes, most likely set by an amphetamine-spiced road worker in Bogata.
She might have made it had it not been for the intervention of East London’s finest. An officer of the Metropolitan police stopped her.
Why?
Well, as he opined: “Doesn’t look particularly wonderful, does it. There’s no real need for it.”
