The Black Cap, Camden High Street, London, was used as a location in the film 'Withnail and I'. The local watering hole, which appeared as Mother Black Cap, for the pair of unemployed actors, and where Richard E Grant asked for "ice in the cider". * On film it was a dingy Irish pub, now actually a lively and trendy gay bar.
