Who stole Snowy the inflatable snowman from Wicklow Town?

WHO stole Snowy the inflatable 60-foot tall showman from the roof of a building in Wicklow Town, Ireland, last week? It’s back now. The thieves returned it. The accompanying note, believe to have been written by the thieves and not Snowy, says “I’m sorry”.
Martina Robinson from the town’s chamber of commerce says “the police had been checking the inflatable snowman for fingerprints“.
He’s not even got any fingers. Good luck with that, lads:
