A husband killed his ‘nagging’ wife by clubbing her to death with a lump hammer after a row about mashed potato. Colin Adlard, 61 snapped and repeatedly struck his wife Wendy with the hammer while she was in bed because she would not stop shouting at him and berating him.
A man turned to drugs to de-stress following a heated row with his girlfriend over defrosting waffles. Jamie Paddison of Grantham, Lincolnshire admitted possession of cannabis after being found carrying the Class B drug on December 19. Bill Fraser, defending, told the court Paddison had made good progress in reducing his use of the drug but had a habit of turning to it in times of stress, as he did following a row with his girlfriend. Mr Fraser added: “The row was about how they should have defrosted their waffles – which seems a bit bizarre to me.”
Leonora Sinclair, 50, was sentenced to 10 years choky for killing her husband, 73-year-old Lloyd, in a row over what to watch on the telly. He wanted to watch teh fooball. She wanted to watch Harry Hill’s TV Burp.
Thomas Hahn, 55, was charged with second-degree murder. Officials said Hahn was sitting in a chair at the home on May Avenue just before 10:30 pm on Tuesday when police arrived. He told officers that he shot Robert Eugene Gray Jr., 35, in self-defence, but police said the evidence suggests otherwise. Witnesses told police the two were arguing over how a pork chop was cooked.
John Cunningham of Jennings, St Louis, Missouri, used a shotgun to settle a fight with his uncle over pork steaks early on Monday. Cunningham, 43, was charged with first-degree murder and armed criminal action in the death of Lessie E. Lowe, 44. Lowe was the maternal uncle of Cunningham. The shooting stemmed from an argument between Lowe and Cunningham over whether the cuts of meat they were planning to cook were pork steaks or pork chops, police say. Cunningham went to another part of the home, grabbed a shotgun and shot Lowe. Lowe died later at Barnes-Jewish Hospital. Cunningham, who was correct about the meat, was taken into custody.
A Sacramento mother has been arrested after attacking her two teen sons over a pork chop…Police say Chavonna Gough got upset with her 16-year-old and 19-year-old sons for eating the last pork chop. She allegedly hit one teen in the head and then punched him in the face.
A Dallas man was arrested early on Wednesday after he and a woman came to blows over a peach soda. By the end of the argument, a glass jar, a tyre iron, a pillow and a box of chicken were all used as weapons, according to a police report…Soon after the argument over the Big Peach soda began, the 24-year-old victim went to her room. Lydia followed and threw a box of chicken at her. After that, a witness told police, Lydia started hitting the woman on the head with a pillow from the bed and then climbed on top of her, punching her multiple times. The victim grabbed a glass jar from her dresser and hit him on the head, shattering glass everywhere. The witness told Lydia to go downstairs, but as he left he grabbed a tyre iron and yelled, “I’m going to kill you!”
A woman in southern Sweden has been charged for attempted assault after attacking a man with a frying pan full of Swedish sausage. The woman, who is in her fifties, reportedly threw the frying pan at the man during a heated spat at their home in Borås. She also threatened to kill the man. While the flying frying pan didn’t hit the intended target, the man was hit with the force of the pan’s contents – Swedish Falukorv and a good dose of grease.
A Burlington woman pleaded guilty… to breaking a frying pan over a man’s head during a fight… Nigeria Shayan Hoover, 18, of Wilkins Street, Burlington, was charged with assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury after a Burlington police officer watched her smash a cast-iron frying pan over her boyfriend’s head..0. Police were responding to the 1910 Wilkins Street residence following a 911 hangup. When the officer arrived, he saw Hoover and Kendall Jackson through a window. Jackson was sitting in a chair and Hoover was over him, suspending an object that appeared to be a plate above the man’s head, said Alamance County Assistant D.A. Lori Wickline. The officer entered the residence, Hoover thanked him for coming and then hit Jackson over the head with the pan, breaking it into three pieces…
A North Naples woman is accused of hitting her live-in boyfriend on the head with a frying pan after he refused to let her use his razor. According to the arrest report, Batson began attacking her boyfriend while he attempted to hide the razors in a kitchen cabinet. After first being clawed and scratched by the woman on his face and chest, the victim told deputies that his girlfriend then grabbed a frying pan and hit him on the head with it, leaving significant cuts on his face.
A western Nebraska man has been jailed after assaulting his wife with a sandwich….According to the arrest affidavit, Spurling’s wife called 911 and reported he pushed her down during an argument and rubbed a sandwich in her face. The woman told deputies that Spurling had become irate for “making him live in the county” and “being bored since there is no place for him to walk.”
A police marksman attacked his wife after finding there was no bread left in their house to make toast.
Woman ‘attacked man with kitchen knife after their FIRST meal together – because he refused to be her boyfriend’
20-year-old Allison Jennifer Kurasz is charged with domestic battery. According to her arrest report, Kurasz got into a verbal argument with the victim. During the dispute, she allegedly struck him in the back of the head with a bowl of spaghetti.
