James Hunt: al fresco sex and vomit-fuelled racing (photos)

JAMAS Hunt behaved pretty much exactly as most of us would were we Formular One drivers. Hunt was into drugs, sex and booze. As racer Stirling Moss, said: “If you looked like James Hunt, what would you have done?” One anecdote has it that before the vital Japanese Grand Prix, Hunt and motorcyling champion Barry Sheene would invite dozens of BA air hostesses back to their hotel rooms and shag all of them. After a bout of ritualistic vomiting and al fresco sex, Hunt won the 1976 world championship. It worked for him. It never worked for Nigel Mansell. He had a different routine:
