Who tossed a puppy at a woman from a moving car?
WHO tossed a puppy from a moving car at Edwina Peters?
Says Mrs Peters, who lives in Shelley, near Huddersfield in West Yorkshire, of the Staffie that struck her:
“It hit me on the back of the leg. It was just a shock – I just felt a thud on my leg. I thought it was a stone at first and then I looked down and I saw the puppy – it was still warm. It was beige, with its tongue hanging out. The puppy was quite chubby so the force of it was quite bad. My leg is a little bit bruised but I’m more bothered about the poor puppy.”
“It happened so quickly I couldn’t get the registration number, but it was quite a posh black car.I’m worried about what might have happened to the other puppies. I don’t know if they did it for a joke or not but I’m sure they must have seen us as we were walking up. I’ve been here for 31 years and I’ve never seen anything like this before. I don’t know why they did it but I can’t believe what they’ve done. I think it’s cruel – I hope they catch them.”
So do we.
