Chimpanzee eats boy’s buttocks

A CHIMPANZEE has eaten a 10-year-old boy’s buttocks. The boy is bow at the Kamwenge health centre, South West Uganda, following the chimp’s attack. Young Paddy Ankunda, for it he, was attacked as he and a friend were walking in Kibale National Park.Paddy’s friend says the chimpanzee attacked him from behind.

“I was shocked when I was called by a neighbour who broke the bad news to me. At first, I thought that he had died, but when I reached the health centre where he had been admitted, I realised that he had lost all the buttocks.”
But why did the chimp attack? With the number of academic chimpanzees employed in academia and research facilities, surely one will try to explain.
