The Squirrel Kings: photos of squirrels fused together by pine tree sap

THE Animal Clinic of Regina in Saskatchewan, Canada, presents the Squirrel Kings. They might be a famous act. Dr. Steven Kruzeniski explains:
“It just doesn’t happen too often. It’s a pretty rare thing to see but I have seen it happen once before.”
What happened was that the six squirrels were welded together by the sap of the pine tree they were nesting in.
Dr. Kruzeniski adds:
They were brought in quickly. They all got to keep their own tails, which is not always the case.”
Is there is a squirrel out there with six tails? And if there is, isn’t that one the one true king?
