Transfer balls: the 38 players Arsenal were going to buy this summer (and didn’t)

TRANSFER Balls: Time to look at what players the Press have told us Arsenal are going to buy this summer. With the transfer windows closing, this is the list in full. Arsenal have bought no-one:

Luis Suarez: did bid but no success.

Gonzalo Higuain: did bid then backed off when price rose. The Sun, however says that “GUNZALO” is an Arsenal players. Napoli, for whom he signed, should take issue with that report.

Yohan Cabeye: Arsenal bid then went cold on the deal. The Newcastle; United man went on strike, and, erm, didn’t.

Real Madrid players: Benzema, Kaka, Ozil, Casillas and Di Maria (whom TalkSport say they bought)
