Manchester United: Wayne Rooney shows off his nasty gash
MANCHESTER United’s Mr Loyal Wayne Rooney wants to show the world the awful cut he suffered in training last week. On his personal Facebook page, La Roon writes:
“Some people seem to be questioning my commitment to the England squad and the fact I had to pull out of the 2 games. There’s nothing I would like more than to be helping the lads in the qualifiers. I’m sure people will see from these images the reason why I won’t be able to play.”
Ok, enough, already. And at £100 a hair, it’s a pricey and nasty injury.
Now if Wayne can show us that hamstring injury suffered on United’s trip to Thailand, then we can be certain that it wasn’t one of those pre-season injuries that can affect wantaway footballers (see: Gareth Bale’s foot).
