Man staged own kidnap to get away from wife for the night

IT looked like Rogelio Andaverde, 34, was being kidnapped when masked men burst into his Monte Alto, Texas, home. Brandishing guns, the men seized Rogelio and bundled him into a vehicle. They sped off.
It was 10:30pm.
His wife called 911. Dozens of police and a helicopter began to search. They found nothing.
The next morning, the victim returned home.
He said the kidnappers had released him.
Police have charged Rogelio with making a false report. They say he staged the abduction so he could go out for the night with his mates.
If found guilty, his getting out of the house should no longer be a problem for about 6-12 months….
