The Kelpies at The Helix: photo of Falkirk’s monument

FACE of the day: Workman continue to work on The Kelpies at The Helix, on the eastern entrance to the Forth and Clyde canal in Falkirk, as it nears completion. The artwork in the shape of horse’s heads, stand 30 metres tall and was designed by Scottish sculptor Andy Scott.The Kelpies are a monument to horse powered heritage across Central Scotland, it says here.
