Madeleine McCann: all front-page pictures of the latest ‘suspect’ snatcher
MADELEINE McCann: the latest “suspect” is front-page news:
Is he “vital“? Is he a “suspect“? Or is he just a “stranger“, called so because the Met have yet to identify him?
The Telegraph is more circumspect:
The Star is factual. It say she was “snatched”. It says this is the man who did it. Unless he didn’t and the Press has just fingered an innocent man. In which case, Robert Murat’s lawyers are waiting for your call.
The Guardian says he is a “suspect”:
The Express never did like the Germans much:
The Mail wonders:
Detective Chief Inspector Andy Redwood, the senior investigating officer, said:
“Whilst this man may or may not be the key to unlocking this investigation, tracing and speaking to him is of vital importance to us. We have witnesses placing him in the resort area around the time of Madeleine’s disappearance. This is far from our only line of enquiry, and there will be e-fits released of other sightings as well, who we are equally keen to trace. These people were seen on the day of Madeleine’s disappearance and the days leading up to it.”
Such are the facts…
