THE Cancer Society of Finland  has produced Tobacco Body, a graphic showing how smoking can damage the body. For the purposes of education, it’s picked two lithesome blondes.

Is it effective? Well, it gets people talking about smoking. But so much has already been said that that it’s no big deal. But does the message work? The young man and young women both look fit a healthy. When the effects of smoke on their body are added they still look young. Their skin is sallow, the hair brittle and the arms hairy (apparently smoking makes your arms hairy) and there are “shadows” on the lungs but they still look young. Do you know anyone young who looks like the after photos just from smoking cigarettes?

What really lets the message droop faster than a smoker’s aroused member is the claim for people who don’t smoke. For them life is fantastic.

Maybe that’s because the smoker has been banned from smoking indoors?

What about, you know, your chances of getting off with Paris Hilton, Kerry Katona or Cliff Richard?

Non-smokers have better muscles. Non-smoking gives you killer pecks and rock-hard abs.

Non-smoking is better than the entire cosmetics industry.
