Sunderland V Hull: The Sun’s Michael Morgan Rewrites History
ON November 30 2011, Sunderland sacked manger Steve Bruce.
The BBC reported:
Bruce, 50, becomes the first Premier League boss to lose his job this season after two wins in the first 13 games.
Fast forward to today, Bruce is manager of Hull, who have won four and drawn 2 in 10 matches, including a 1-0 win over bottom-of-the-table Sunderland (one win in 10).
Mike Morgan picks up his quill and tells Sun readers:
“HULL continue to flourish under Steve Bruce while Sunderland carry on floundering without him. Just goes to show that there are in times in football, as in life, when you do not appreciate what you have until it has gone.”
Sunderland did pretty well at floundering with him.
