Miles Scott Is Batkid: The Story Of A Dream Made Real In Photos
MILES Scott is Batkid. He always will be. He is here to save San Francisco. And to make us smile.
The Make-A-Wish Foundation secured pledges from 10,000 people to help Scott have one mazing day. Scott is recovering from leukaemia fulfil.
Can he save the day? Can he save Gotham?
San Francisco Police Chief Greg Suhr kicks off the fun by issuing an appeal for help from “Batkid”. Can he save “damsel in distress”, tied to cable car tracks along a major urban street? Can he capture the Riddler? Rescue the San Francisco Giants baseball team mascot by disarming a fake bomb planted by The Penguin? Can he be a hero?
This goes to the very top:
Batkid hears the call
Batkid’s mother Natalie says: “This wish has meant closure for our family and an end to over three years of putting toxic drugs in our son’s body. This wish has become kind of a family reunion and is our celebration of his treatment completion.”
Daniel Fry holds up his daughter Kayla, 5, as they wait for Miles Scott.
Riddle Out Of That One
The police played along.
The scoreboard at AT&T Park displays a sign for Miles Scott, as Batkid, as the Penguin, bottom left, kidnaps San Francisco Giants mascot Lou Seal in San Francisco.
