Anthony Howe And His Wonderful Wind-Powered World
ANTHONY Howe makes brilliant wind sculptures. His mantra is: “Let’s go sit on the patio and watch the whirligig.” How, a antive of Born Salt Lake City, Utah, and alumnus of The Taft School, Cornell University and Skowhegan School of Sculpture and Paintin. He says:
“I just was bored with everything being static in my visual world. I wanted to see stuff flow.”
If wind turbines are to appear all over the country, can the designers of those monstrosities please call Howe urgently. Make them beautiful.
