At Last! Lie Detectors In Santa’s Grotto
FOR years, lying little swine have got away with lying to Santa, saying they’ve been good all year when in fact, their school reports say something very different.
At long last, children in shopping centres in the UK are being asked to take a lie detector test before being granted an audience with His Holiness, Father Christmas.
The polygraphs have been set up at Brent Cross in London, West Quay in Southampton and Centrale in Croydon to determine how nice children have been.
In a video, a tremendously official looking man can be seen interrogating children along the lines of: “Are you good at school? Very good?”
Brent Cross marketing manager Katie Tucker insisted the lie detector was just a bit of festive fun.
“We know that Christmas is a busy time of year for Santa and parents, so we decided to lend both a hand and check if children had really been naughty or nice, to make sure no one is telling fibs,” she said.
