Heather Mills Attacks Olympic Official, Allegedly
REMEMBER Heather Mills? She was a model who no-one was that fussed about, then she had a terrible accident and everyone rightly gave her props for not letting her missing leg defeat her. Then she married Paul McCartney, which everyone was surprised by. Then she started being a git and everyone hated her, feeling guilty for resorting to peg-leg jokes.
Many people disliked her because she married a Beatle.

News just in – Heather Mills has been accused of lunging at a Paralympic official and screaming insults at them after being forced to abandon her attempt to qualify for the British skiing team for next year’s games.
Mills will not be competing in Sochi as the International Paralympic Committee ruled that her new prosthetic leg hadn’t been ratified by the governing body, and so, her application for a place in Britain’s team was chucked in the bin.
IPC spokesman Craig Spence said that Mills “flew into a rage” when she confronted ski committee head Sylvana Mestre at a team captains’ meeting and then swore at the official and said “you don’t know who I am, I’m going to make your life miserable!”
“Sylvana is deeply upset, traumatized,” Spence said. “She (Mills) verbally abused Sylvana, and started to push her. There were 10 witnesses in the room who saw what went on.”
Mills is inevitably going to end up with a fine up to 1,000 euros and the whole thing will be referred to the IPC’s legal and ethics committee for its consideration.
“Para-athletes are role models and an inspiration to billions of people around the world,” Spence said in an IPC statement. “We understand the pressure athletes are under in the lead-up to Sochi 2014 and that Heather has been working extremely hard to achieve her goal.”
“However, there can be no excuse for such aggressive and intimidating behaviour towards such a highly respected and experienced official within the Paralympic Movement.”
So is she a horror or not? This is so confusing. It may have been the pressure talking, right? Once she’s calmed down, we’ll probably go easy on her, won’t w… hang on. What’s that?
Mills’ coach is planning to make a formal complaint about Mestre’s behavior, claiming there is a “vendetta” against Mills and everything ever is against her.
