Legoland’s Homophobic, Anti-Semitic, Far-Right Muslims-Only ‘Fun Day’ Supports Jews And Israel
THE Daily Star reports “EDL to target Legoland after Muslim HATE preacher hires park for day out – LEGOLAND has been slammed for hiring out the theme park to a hate-filled extremist preacher”. The Daily Express chimes “Far Right targets LEGOLAND after park hired by Muslim cleric for kids’ HALAL fun day”. John Ward’s story of 16th February 2014 was about Muslims hiring a theme park for a day out.
Controversial cleric Haitham al-Haddad is the head of a group that has rented the popular attraction for a Muslims Family Fun Day on March 9… The hardline cleric runs The Muslim Research and Development Foundation (MRDF), which has paid Legoland around £100,000 to open the park in Windsor, Berkshire for the event.
Having introduced readers to Haitham’s views on Jews (reportedly, he called them descendants of apes and pigs, and thus both proof of evolution and tasty) and sex (women and men “should be segregated”), we learn on the MRDF website that the day out will be “a true alternative in which like minded families can enjoy safe and enjoyable time while at the same time conducive to their faith”. If you want to spend a low-season day out at Legoland with your group, then go for it. As Legoland states:
“It is a private hire, it is out of season and it happens to be a Muslim organisation. It could happen to be a business or anything else. Anybody can go, it is not about Muslims.”
And they can. The Star says its reporter scored a £17 ticket without having to show any Muslim credentials. The paper also quotes other Muslims:
Dr Taj Hargey, an imam chairman of the Muslim Educational Centre of Oxford, said: “I would ask Legoland that if they are happy to let his group hire the park, then would they be happy to let the BNP and other extremist far-right groups hold their family fun day there?
But you get a less full picture in The Windsor And Eton Express:
A theme park has come under attack after announcing it was hiring out the park to a Muslim foundation… The theme park, in Winkfield Road, has now deleted its Facebook page after abusive comments were posted. The spokesman added: “We are reporting these people to the police.”
The Mail reports:
In May 2011, he [al-Haddad] wrote: ‘He [Osama bin Laden] died as a Muslim and it is an established part of our Islamic creed that every Muslim, unlike the disbelievers, will eventually enter paradise.’
He says God hates gays: Harry’s Place has a long list of quotes it attributes to al-Hadad, including:
“O servants of Allah! Here’s another warning more important than its predecessor, namely: declaring Jews and Christians to be kuffār, and the necessity of hating them, and avoiding them.“
Also, reportedly, he says it’s “evil” for Muslims to wish you a Merry Christmas and Jews “are one of the armies of the devil”. Nice stuff. But why does Legoland tell the Facebook police about idiots who post comments online and not take offence at al-Haddad? The Windsor And Eton Express makes no mention of the cleric’s views in its report, only that:
Far-right groups, including the English Defence League, have announced their intention to host a protest on the day the MRDF visit the park. Thames Valley Police has launched an investigation into the threatening messages.
The Express adds:
The English Defence League and the neo-Nazi linked Casuals United are threatening a demonstration at the park in Windsor, Berkshire, on March 9 when thousands Muslim youngsters and parents will celebrate a day of “Halal entertainment”… The MRDF, based in the east London borough of Tower Hamlets, is run by Haitham al-Haddad, who has been banned from speaking at a number of British universities due to his anti-Western views.
Why ban him from talking? Free speech is just that. The ban is pathetic. Make the man debate his views. Shine a light on them. What happened to universities being bastions of openness and free thought? So. After the MRDF have scratched the cleric’s love of Lego (but not this), maybe the BNP can book Legoland for fun times? Or try to…

Better yet, Legoland is operated by Merlin Entertainments, who are owned by Blackstone, CVC Capital and Kirkbi (the Lego family).
