Daily Mail’s Jobsite Refuses To Find Work For ‘Incomprehensible’ Piers Morgan (The Paper’s Columnist)
PIERS Morgan, removed from his chatshow slot by CNN, is the subject of a tweet by Jobsite:
Jobsite is owned by DMG media – owners of the,yep, Daily Mail, where Morgan is employed to write about his fabulous life.
One recent instalment in his life’s diary recalls his luvvie meeting with Gordon Ramsay.
Later, I went to dinner at Madeo, my favourite LA restaurant, and spied a familiar face at a nearby table as I arrived.
‘Ramsay, you ugly, useless b*****d!’
Then he saw me. ‘Morgan, you f**ing dumb k**b!’
The other guests at the table watched this encounter in frozen, silent horror.
‘I’m so sorry,’ I explained, ‘but it’s the only language Gordon understands.’
It turned out they were Fox Television executives.
‘You cancelling Gordon’s deal due to dwindling ratings?’ I asked.
‘F**k off about ratings, Morgan!’ he snarled back. ‘Yours are receding faster than your f***ing hairline!’
‘So would yours be if it wasn’t for the implants,’ I retorted. ‘I’ve seen less plastic surgery on the Bride of Wildenstein.’
Then we both laughed and shook hands.
‘You good, mate?’ I asked.
‘Great mate, thanks – nice to see you.’
It was all very British. And all utterly incomprehensible to the wide-eyed Americans.
Not all that good to be viewed as incomprehensible when your job’s to be a journalist…
