The Real Life Barbie Manages To Get Her Racism The Wrong Way Around
OK, so there’s being good looking and stupid, not an unknown combination, and then there’s being freakish looking and being a blind bloody idiot. Which is what seems to have happened to this real life Barbie Doll of ours:
‘Human Barbie’ Valeria Lukyanova has claimed that interracial couples are making the human race uglier and sparking a rise in plastic surgery.
The cosmetically-enhanced model, 28, who is from the Ukraine, told GQ magazine: ‘Ethnicities are mixing now, so there’s degeneration, and it didn’t used to be like that.
‘Remember how many beautiful women there were in the 1950s and 1960s, without any surgery? And now, thanks to degeneration, we have this. A Russian marries an Armenian, they have a kid, a cute girl, but she has her dad’s nose. She goes and files it down a little, and it’s all good.’
This is such a cock up of the reality about racial mixing that it’s near absurdity. For the truth is that miscegenation, that shagging across racial lines that leads to children, produces those far better looking than either of the two original races. To be really rather archaically racist about it, the Coloured of South Africa turn out very much more handsome/pretty than the original Bantu or Afrikaaners (that latter not being difficult it has to be said) that they descend from. The European/SE Asian mix has long been thought to be one of the peaks of human beauty. And given that this bird is from the Ukraine she really ought to understand this. For those high cheekbones that men slather over among the Slavs are the result of the conquests of the Mongols and the Tatars: those wild horsemen from the east leaving a bit of their genetic inheritance in the population they conquered for a while.
You can hold any view you like about race, the mixing of them (mine is the more the merrier quite frankly) but to go around insisting that mixed race children are somehow uglier than the “pure” is simply nonsense. We’ve all the evidence that we could possibly need in that seething mass of humanity around us. The mixed race are, quite frankly, better looking on average than the rest of us.
